House Cut Fries Ingredients

Method

Burger Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing during cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each. Cook for another 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster. On the bottom half of each bun, layer a lettuce leaf, a cooked patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

House Cut Fries Directions

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thick strips to create fries. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. Fry the potatoes in batches for about 5-6 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 6

    Season the Fries

Sprinkle the hot fries with salt to taste while they are still hot. Serve immediately alongside the burgers.
