Melt the Butter
In a saucepan over low heat, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter with 2 cups of granulated sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar. Stir until well combined.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add 4 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in 2 tsp of vanilla extract.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, and 0.5 tsp of salt.
- 6
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

Add Chocolate Chips and Walnuts
Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 cup of chopped walnuts into the batter.
