Prepare the Tomatoes
Slice the green tomatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Place them on a paper towel and sprinkle both sides with salt. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to draw out moisture.

Fry the Tomatoes
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F or 175°C). Fry the breaded tomato slices in batches, about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet, cook the applewood smoked bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Sandwich
On a slice of toasted bread, spread a generous layer of horseradish Comeback Sauce. Layer with lettuce, crispy bacon, fried green tomatoes, and another slice of toasted bread on top.

Serve
Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately with extra Comeback Sauce on the side for dipping, if desired.
