Pasta Preparation

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
Sauce Preparation

Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, lower the heat and add heavy cream. Stir continuously until heated through. Gradually add in smoked Gouda cheese and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Add chopped parsley and mix well.
Combine Dishes

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained pasta to the sauce in the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the cheese sauce. Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the pasta.
Green Beans Preparation

Cook the Green Beans
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add fresh green beans and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender yet crisp. Drain and return to the pot. Stir in butter, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Serve the Dish
Plate the chicken and smoked Gouda pasta, and serve the green beans on the side. Enjoy your meal!
