Method
Cooking Chicken
Season the Chicken
Sprinkle the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Sear the Chicken
Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest.
Preparing Cowboy Sauce
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
Simmer
Let the sauce simmer on low heat for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Assemble the Chicken Stackhouse
Layer the Ingredients
Place a seared chicken breast on a plate, top it with a slice of white cheddar cheese, followed by a slice of government cheese. Allow the cheese to melt slightly.
Drizzle with Sauce
Generously drizzle the Cowboy Sauce over the stacked ingredients.
