Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Glass

Start by rimming your glass with Tajin salt. To do this, moisten the rim of the glass with a lime wedge, then dip the rim into a plate of Tajin salt until fully coated.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Jalapeño

Using a grill or stovetop, lightly char the jalapeño until it has a smoky aroma and slight blistering. Allow it to cool, then slice it for garnish.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the Flecha Azul Reposado Tequila, Grand Marnier, freshly squeezed lime juice, chipotle pineapple syrup, and prickly pear reduction.

  2. 4

    Shake

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

  3. 5

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Optionally, add a slice of the smoked jalapeño on top for garnish.
