Main Ingredients

For the Drawn Butter

Method

Preparing the Lobster

  1. 1

Step 1: Prepare the Lobster Tails

Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tail down the center to expose the meat. Be cautious not to cut all the way through the tail.

  2. 2

    Step 2: Season the Lobster

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat.

Grilling the Lobster

  1. 3

    Step 3: Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F).

  2. 4

    Step 4: Grill the Lobster

Place the lobster tails on the grill, shell side down. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, until the meat is opaque and slightly charred. Flip the tails halfway through cooking to ensure even grilling.

Preparing the Drawn Butter

  1. 5

    Step 5: Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, stir in the lemon juice for added flavor.

Serving

  1. 6

    Step 6: Serve

Remove the lobster tails from the grill and serve immediately with the drawn butter on the side for dipping.
