Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Begin by gathering all your ingredients. Pat the Black Grouper fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

Prepare the Dredging and Egg Mixture

In a shallow dish, place the all-purpose flour. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and lemon juice until well combined.

  3. 3

    Dredge the Fish

Coat each fillet in flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip the floured fillets into the egg mixture, ensuring they are well covered.

  4. 4

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until hot but not smoking.

  5. 5

    Cook the Fish

Carefully add the coated fillets to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fillets and set aside on a plate.

  6. 6

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the fresh parsley and stir for about 1 minute.

  7. 7

    Serve

Drizzle the parsley butter sauce over the cooked Grouper fillets. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
