Preparation

  1. 1

    Muddle Blueberries and Mint

In a cocktail shaker, add 1 cup of fresh blueberries and 10 mint leaves. Muddle them together gently to release the juices and oils from the mint.

  2. 2

    Add Liquid Ingredients

Pour in 2 oz of Ron Matusalem 15yr Rum, 1 oz of freshly squeezed lime juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup into the shaker with the muddled blueberries and mint.

  3. 3

    Shake

Fill the shaker with ice, then shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to mix the ingredients well and chill the mixture.

Serving

  1. 4

    Strain and Pour

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Use a fine mesh strainer if you prefer to remove the blueberry skins.

  2. 5

    Top with Club Soda

Top the glass with 4 oz of club soda for some fizz. Stir gently to combine.

  3. 6

    Garnish

Garnish with a few whole blueberries and a sprig of fresh mint for presentation.
