For the Filet Mignon

For the Lobster Tail

Method

Preparing the Filet Mignon

  1. 1

    Seasoning the Steak

Rub the filet mignon with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let it rest for about 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Cooking the Steak

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the filet mignon and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adding fresh rosemary in the last minute. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Preparing the Lobster Tail

  1. 3

    Preparing the Lobster

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tail lengthwise.

  2. 4

    Seasoning and Baking

Mix melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush the mixture over the lobster meat. Place the lobster tail on a baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the meat is opaque.
