Method
Tiramisu Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Mascarpone Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Whip until the mixture is smooth and forms soft peaks.
- 2
Dip the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger biscuit into the cooled espresso coffee, making sure not to soak them. Place a layer of dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
- 3
Layer the Mixture
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers. Smooth out the top with a spatula.
- 4
Repeat Layers
Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers on top of the mascarpone mixture, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture. Smooth the top again.
- 5
Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- 6
Serve
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and, if desired, sprinkle with grated dark chocolate. Cut into squares and enjoy!
