Prepare the Broccoli Rabe
Wash the broccoli rabe thoroughly and trim the ends of the stems. If the stems are very thick, you can peel them slightly.

Cook the Broccoli Rabe
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli rabe and blanch for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender. Remove and shock in ice water to stop cooking. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden.
