Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Clams
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Rinse the clams under cold water to remove any sand or grit. Place them in a baking dish with the hinged side facing up.
- 2
Make the Stuffing
In a mixing bowl, combine the bread crumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly blended.
- 3
Stuff the Clams
Spoon the stuffing mixture over each clam, pressing it down gently to adhere. Make sure each clam is generously topped with the stuffing.
- 4
Prepare the Sauce
In a separate bowl, mix the white wine and lemon juice together. Pour this mixture around the clams in the baking dish.
- 5
Bake the Clams
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the clams are heated through and the tops are golden brown.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, spooning some of the wine sauce over the clams before enjoying.
