Method
Preparation of Cauliflower
- 1
Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- 2
Prepare the cauliflower
Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower. Cut it into bite-sized florets.
- 3
Season the cauliflower
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until the florets are evenly coated.
- 4
Bake the cauliflower
Spread the seasoned cauliflower florets on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- 5
Add buffalo sauce
Remove the cauliflower from the oven and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the cauliflower and toss to coat evenly.
- 6
Return to the oven
Place the coated cauliflower back on the baking sheet and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
Preparation of Ranch Dressing
- 7
Mix the ranch dressing
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
- 8
Chill the dressing
Cover the ranch dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serving
- 9
Plate and serve
Once the cauliflower is crispy and the ranch dressing has chilled, serve the buffalo cauliflower hot with a side of ranch dressing for dipping.
