Preparing Chicken Patties

Pound and Coat Chicken
Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. Dip each piece in beaten egg, then coat with bread crumbs seasoned with salt and pepper.

Fry the Patties
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry each chicken piece until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Making Fries

Prepare Potatoes
Peel and cut the potatoes into thin strips. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

Fry the Potatoes
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium-high heat. Fry the potato strips in batches until golden and crispy, about 5-6 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, sprinkling with salt immediately.
Assembling the Sandwich

Build the Sandwich
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each burger bun. Place a fried chicken patty on top, followed by lettuce, a slice of tomato, ranch dressing, and a slice of cheese. Top with the other half of the bun.
