Donuts

Graham Cracker Crumble

Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream

Method

Making the Donuts

  1. 1

    Prepare the Donut Batter

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Combine both mixtures and stir until just combined. Gently fold in hot chocolate mix.

  2. 2

    Fry the Donuts

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fill a piping bag with the donut batter and pipe into the hot oil, forming rings. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Fill the Donuts

Once cooled, use a piping bag to fill each donut with hot chocolate.

Making the Graham Cracker Crumble

  1. 4

    Prepare the Crumble

In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, melted butter, and a pinch of salt. Mix until crumbly. Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes until golden.

Making the Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream

  1. 5

    Toast the Marshmallows

In a skillet, toast mini marshmallows over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from heat.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Ice Cream Mixture

In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Fold in the toasted marshmallows.

  3. 7

    Chill and Freeze

Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer instructions. Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
