    Cook the Pasta

    In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add bucatini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

    Prepare the Sauce

    In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

    Cook the Shrimp

    Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

    Add the cooked bucatini to the skillet with the shrimp. Stir in lemon juice and a splash of reserved pasta water to create a sauce. Toss well to combine.

    Garnish and Serve

    Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately.
