Brewing Instructions
- 1
Setup the Pour Over
Place the pour over carafe on a stable surface. Insert a coffee filter into the pour over cone.
- 2
Add Coffee Grounds
Measure and add 0.5 cups of coarsely ground coffee into the filter.
- 3
Heat Water
Boil 4 cups of filtered water and allow it to cool slightly (about 200°F or 93°C).
- 4
Bloom the Coffee
Pour about 0.5 cups of hot water over the coffee grounds to saturate them. Let it bloom for 30 seconds.
- 5
Pour the Remaining Water
Slowly pour the rest of the hot water over the coffee grounds in a circular motion, allowing the coffee to drip into the carafe below.
- 6
Serve
Once the dripping has finished, remove the pour over cone and filter. Serve the brewed coffee hot.
