Croissant Bread Pudding

Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Croissants

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the croissants into bite-sized pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

  2. 2

    Make the Custard Mixture

In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and eggs until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine and Soak

Pour the custard mixture over the croissant pieces, ensuring they are well coated. Let it soak for about 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Bake the Pudding

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted comes out clean.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Bourbon Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the bourbon and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve warm with a scoop of Häagen-Dazs Dulce de Leche Ice Cream, drizzle with bourbon sauce, and sprinkle with almond toffee.
