Baking Instructions

Knead the Dough
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

Shape and Second Rise
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Shape into a loaf and place in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Cover and let rise again until doubled, about 30-45 minutes.

Bake the Bread
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Once the dough has risen, bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
- 5
Cool and Serve
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
