Brewing Instructions

  1. 1

    Mashing

In a large pot, heat 3 liters of water to 67°C (153°F). Add the pale malt, caramel malt, and crystal malt. Stir well and maintain the temperature for 60 minutes.

  2. 2

    Boiling

After mashing, remove the grains and bring the liquid to a boil. Once boiling, add Citra hops, Simcoe hops, and Mosaic hops. Boil for 60 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cooling the Wort

After boiling, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or ice bath until it reaches 20°C (68°F).

  4. 4

    Fermentation

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel. Add the yeast and seal with an airlock. Ferment for approximately 2 weeks at 18-22°C (64-72°F).

  5. 5

    Bottling

After fermentation is complete, dissolve priming sugar in 1 cup of boiling water. Add this to the beer and bottle it. Allow the bottles to carbonate for another 1-2 weeks at room temperature.
