Wine Ingredients

Method

Wine Making Process

  1. 1

    Prepare the Grapes

Wash the Malbec grapes thoroughly to remove any dirt or impurities. Remove stems and crush the grapes to release the juice.

  2. 2

    Fermentation

In a fermentation vessel, combine the crushed grapes, water, sugar, yeast, acid blend, and tannin. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are mixed.

  3. 3

    Primary Fermentation

Cover the fermentation vessel with a cloth and allow it to ferment at room temperature for about 7-10 days. Stir daily to promote fermentation.

  4. 4

    Pressing

After primary fermentation, press the mixture to extract the juice. Transfer the juice to a clean fermentation vessel, leaving solids behind.

  5. 5

    Secondary Fermentation

Seal the fermentation vessel with an airlock and let it ferment for an additional 2-4 weeks until bubbling ceases. Ensure the fermentation temperature is stable.

  6. 6

    Bottling

Once fermentation is complete, siphon the wine into clean bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal the bottles and store them in a cool, dark place.

  7. 7

    Aging

Let the wine age for at least 6 months to develop its flavors before tasting.
