Method
Pannenkoek Preparation
- 1
Make the Batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the eggs and milk. Stir until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- 2
Rest the Batter
Let the batter sit for about 15 minutes to allow the flour to absorb the liquid.
- 3
Cook the Pannenkoek
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet, swirling to coat the bottom evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges lift and the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until cooked through. Repeat with remaining batter, adding more butter as needed.

Serve the Pannenkoek
Stack the cooked pannenkoeken on a plate. Dust generously with powdered sugar and serve with apple stroop syrup on the side.
