Sourdough Hoagie

Arugula Topping

Method

Preparing the Sourdough Hoagie

1

Preheat and Prepare

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the sourdough hoagie rolls in half lengthwise and brush the inside of each half with olive oil.

2

Season the Rolls

Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper evenly over the oiled sides of the hoagie rolls.

3

Toast the Rolls

Place the rolls in the preheated oven and toast for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Making the Fries

4

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.

5

Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

6

Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt immediately.

Preparing the Arugula Topping

7

Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine fresh arugula, lemon juice, olive oil, and Parmesan cheese.

8

Season

Season the arugula mixture with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss gently to combine.

Assembling the Dish

9

Assemble

Take the toasted sourdough hoagie rolls and fill each with the seasoned arugula mixture.

10

Serve

Serve the hoagie with a side of golden fries. Enjoy your Beyond Brawt!
