Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Wash and Prepare Vegetables

Thoroughly rinse the mixed greens under cold water and dry them using a salad spinner or pat with paper towels. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half, peel and slice the cucumber into thin rounds, peel and julienne the carrot, and thinly slice the red onion.

  2. 2

    Combine Salad Ingredients

In a large salad bowl, add the mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, julienned carrot, and sliced red onion. Toss gently to combine.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined and emulsified.

  2. 4

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the salad mixture in the large bowl. Toss gently to ensure all ingredients are coated with the dressing.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate and Serve

Divide the mixed salad into serving bowls or plates. Serve immediately as a fresh side or a light main dish.
