Chicken Tenders

Method

Chicken Tenders Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Begin by slicing the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and add the breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third bowl.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken strip in flour, shaking off excess. Dip in beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

  4. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  5. 5

    Fry the Chicken Tenders

Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick).

  2. 7

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, ensuring crispy fries.

  3. 8

    Heat Oil for Frying

In a separate large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 9

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. Fry the potatoes in batches for about 4-5 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with salt.
