Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Prepare the Bread and Cheese
Lay out 2 slices of bread on a clean surface. Place 2 slices of cheddar cheese between the bread slices.

Butter the Bread
Spread 1 tablespoon of butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.

Flip and Finish Grilling
Using a spatula, carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

Serve
Remove the sandwich from the skillet, let it cool for a minute, then cut it in half and serve immediately.

Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the 2 medium potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.

Season the Fries
In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of pepper until well coated.

Bake the Fries
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cook Until Crispy
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fries from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve alongside the grilled cheese sandwich.
