Preparation of Tea

    Boil Water

    In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

    Steep Tea

    Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Let them steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

    Remove Tea Bags

    After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the saucepan and discard them.

Flavoring the Tea

    Add Mint

    Add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves to the brewed tea and let it steep for an additional 5 minutes.

    Mix in Lemon Juice

    Stir in 3 tablespoons of lemon juice to the tea mixture.

    Add honey or sugar to taste, stirring until fully dissolved.

Chilling and Serving
