Preparation of Mashed Potato Blend

Blanch Broccoli
In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Add broccoli florets and blanch for 2-3 minutes until bright green. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Seafood

Prepare Beer Batter
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually whisk in beer until smooth.

Batter and Fry Cod
Dip cod fillets into the beer batter, allowing excess to drip off. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the battered cod until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Cook Shrimp
In the same pan, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Making the Garlic Dill Cream Sauce

Mix Sauce Ingredients
In a bowl, combine sour cream, minced garlic, chopped dill, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.

Plate the Dish
On each plate, layer a generous serving of mashed potato blend, top with blanched broccoli, then add fried cod, shrimp, and slices of smoked salmon. Drizzle with garlic dill cream sauce and garnish with fried capers.
