Method

Brewing Coffee

  1. 1

    Prepare the Coffee

Boil 240 ml of water and let it cool slightly. Add 2 tablespoons of ground coffee to a French press or coffee maker.

  2. 2

    Brew

Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds and let it steep for 4-5 minutes. If using a French press, press down the plunger after steeping.

Preparing Milk

  1. 3

    Heat Milk

In a small saucepan, heat 120 ml of milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Alternatively, you can froth the milk using a milk frother.

  2. 4

    Sweeten (Optional)

Add sugar to the hot milk if desired, stirring until dissolved.

Assembling the Cappuccino

  1. 5

    Combine

Pour the brewed coffee into a cup, filling it about halfway. Gently pour the hot, frothed milk on top of the coffee.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Sprinkle cocoa powder or cinnamon on top of the milk for garnish.

  3. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your homemade cappuccino.
