Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Berry Compote

In a small saucepan, add the mixed berries and cook over medium heat until soft, about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally and mash the berries slightly. Remove from heat and let cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash the strawberries, grapes, and pineapple. Cut the strawberries and pineapple into bite-sized pieces. Peel the banana and slice it into rounds.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Honey Cake

If using store-bought honey cake, cut it into slices. If making from scratch, prepare according to your recipe and let cool before slicing.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Breakfast Board

On a large board or platter, arrange the black forest ham slices on one side. Next to it, place a bowl of Greek yogurt topped with the cooled berry compote.

  2. 5

    Add Fresh Fruits

Arrange the strawberries, pineapple pieces, grapes, and banana slices around the yogurt and ham.

  3. 6

Include Honey Cake and Orange Juice

Place the slices of honey cake next to the fruit and yogurt. Pour the orange juice into a small pitcher or glass and place it on the board.

  4. 7

    Serve

Drizzle honey over the yogurt and enjoy the Breakfast Board as a delightful morning spread.
