Chicken Fingers
Fries
Method
Chicken Fingers
- 1
Prep the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and combine the breadcrumbs with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in the third bowl.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first in the flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Set aside on a plate.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- 5
Fry the Chicken Fingers
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Fries
- 6
Prep the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
- 7
Season the Fries
In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
- 8
Bake the Fries
Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Spread the seasoned potato strips in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
