Make Hibiscus Tea
In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Steep the Tea
Once boiling, remove from heat and let the hibiscus flowers steep for about 15 minutes. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl to remove the flowers. Allow the hibiscus tea to cool to room temperature.

Mix the Margarita
In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 cup of the cooled hibiscus tea, 1 cup of fresh lime juice, 1 cup of tequila, and 1/4 cup of agave syrup. Add ice cubes and shake well.

Prepare the Glasses
On a small plate, pour 1 tsp of salt. Rub a lime slice around the rim of each glass, then dip the rim into the salt to coat.

Pour the hibiscus margarita mixture into the prepared glasses filled with ice. Garnish with lime slices and a piece of dried hibiscus flower.
