Fried Ice Cream

Prepare Ice Cream
Scoop the vanilla ice cream into 4 equal balls and place them on a tray. Freeze the ice cream balls for at least 1 hour until very firm.

Fry the Ice Cream
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C). Fry each coated ice cream ball for about 10-15 seconds until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Pipe Churros
Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe 4-inch strips of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Fry Churros
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot. Fry churros until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Coat Churros
In a bowl, mix powdered sugar and ground cinnamon. Roll the fried churros in this mixture to coat.
Assembly

Serve the Dish
On a serving plate, place the fried ice cream ball. Drizzle with your choice of strawberry, caramel, or chocolate sauce. Top with whipped cream and a cherry. Serve with churro bites on the side.
