Decide whether you want a vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, or a black and white milkshake.

Gather Ingredients
Collect all the ingredients based on your chosen flavor. For chocolate, use chocolate syrup; for strawberry, use strawberry syrup; for vanilla, use vanilla extract.
Blending

Combine Ingredients
In a blender, combine 1 cup of whole milk and 2 cups of your chosen ice cream flavor.

Add Flavoring
If making a chocolate milkshake, add 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup. For strawberry, add 2 tablespoons of strawberry syrup. For vanilla, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Blend the Mixture
Blend the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy, usually about 30-45 seconds.
Serving

Pour the thick milkshake into tall glasses.
