Method
Preparing the Turkey
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2
Season the Turkey
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary. Rub this mixture all over the turkey breast.
- 3
Roasting the Turkey
Place the seasoned turkey breast in a roasting pan. Roast in the preheated oven for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 4
Resting
Once done, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
Making the Stuffing
- 5
- 6
Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, sage, salt, and pepper. Pour in chicken broth gradually, mixing until the bread is moistened.
- 7
Bake the Stuffing
Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased baking dish. Bake in the oven alongside the turkey for the last 30-40 minutes of the turkey's cooking time, or until golden brown.
Making the Cranberry Sauce
- 8
- 9
Simmer
Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
- 10
Finish with Lemon Juice
Stir in the lemon juice and remove from heat. Let cool before serving.
Making the Turkey Gravy
- 11
Prepare the Roux
In a saucepan, whisk together turkey drippings and flour over medium heat until smooth and bubbling.
- 12
Add Broth
Gradually whisk in chicken broth, continuing to stir until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 13
Serve
Serve the gravy warm over the sliced turkey.
