Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Whisk until well combined to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork Chops

Place the pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C). If using a charcoal grill, allow the coals to burn until covered with white ash.

  2. 4

    Grill the Pork Chops

Remove the pork chops from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Discard the remaining marinade. Place the pork chops on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  3. 5

    Rest and Serve

Once done, remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps the juices redistribute. Serve warm with your choice of sides.
