Juicing the Grapefruit
Cut the grapefruit in half and use a citrus juicer to extract the juice from both halves. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp or seeds.

Chilling the Champagne
Place the bottle of champagne in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving, or in an ice bucket for 30 minutes.
Mixing

Combine Ingredients
In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice with the chilled champagne. Stir gently to mix, being careful not to lose too much carbonation.
Serving

Pour and Garnish
Pour the grapefruit mimosa into champagne flutes. Optionally, add a slice of grapefruit and a few mint leaves to each glass for garnish.
