Juicing Process
- 1
Preparing the Oranges
Wash the fresh oranges thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or pesticide residue.
- 2
Cutting the Oranges
Using a sharp knife, cut each orange in half horizontally to expose the juicy segments.
- 3
Juicing the Oranges
Using a manual juicer or an electric juicer, press down on each half of the orange to extract the juice. Collect the juice in a measuring cup or pitcher.
- 4
Straining (Optional)
If you prefer pulp-free juice, pour the extracted juice through a fine mesh strainer into another container to remove any pulp or seeds.
- 5
Sweetening (Optional)
If desired, add sugar to the juice and stir well until dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- 6
Serving
Pour the freshly squeezed orange juice into a glass. If desired, add ice cubes for a chilled beverage.
