Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Remove any wilted or damaged leaves. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner to remove excess water. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Croutons
Measure out 1 cup of herb croutons and sprinkle them evenly over the chopped romaine lettuce in the salad bowl.
- 3
Add Parmesan Cheese
Grate or shave 0.5 cup of Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the cheese over the salad mixture, ensuring even distribution.
- 4
Dress the Salad
Pour 0.5 cup of Caesar dressing over the salad ingredients. Use tongs or salad servers to gently toss the salad until all ingredients are well coated with the dressing.
- 5
Serve
Taste the salad and add additional Caesar dressing or seasonings (like salt or pepper) to taste, if needed. Serve immediately as a side dish or a light meal.
