Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and set aside.

Melt Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat once melted.

Mix Sugars
Stir in 2 cups of granulated sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar into the melted butter until smooth.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add 2 tsp of vanilla extract and 4 large eggs to the butter-sugar mixture, whisking until fully incorporated.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, mix together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, and 1 tsp of salt.

Mix Together
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.

Add Chocolate Chips
Gently fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips into the brownie batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before cutting them into squares.
Assemble Sundae

Add Brownies
Cut the cooled brownies into squares and place 1-2 brownie squares on top of each scoop of ice cream.

Warm up 1 cup of hot fudge sauce and drizzle generously over the brownies and ice cream.

Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top of the hot fudge.
