Pork Schnitzel Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Preparing the Pork
Slice the pork loin into thin cutlets, about 1/2 inch thick. Use a meat mallet to pound the cutlets to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
- 2
Breading Setup
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one for flour mixed with salt, pepper, and paprika; one for beaten eggs; and one for breadcrumbs.
- 3
Breading the Cutlets
Coat each pork cutlet in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
Frying the Schnitzel
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the breaded cutlets in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
