Preparation
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.

Marinate the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Grill or Blacken the Salmon
Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade. If grilling, place the salmon skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. If blackening in a skillet, add a bit of oil and sear the salmon for 3-4 minutes per side.

Once cooked, remove the salmon from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
