Wood-Fired Wild Mushrooms

Method

Wood-Fired Wild Mushrooms

  1. 1

    Prepare the mushrooms

Clean the wild mushrooms gently with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. If they are large, cut them into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Marinate the mushrooms

In a bowl, combine the mushrooms with olive oil, minced garlic, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir to coat the mushrooms evenly and let them marinate for about 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Fire up the grill

Preheat your wood-fired grill or oven to a high temperature (around 400°F or 200°C).

  4. 4

    Cook the mushrooms

Place the marinated mushrooms on a grill basket or skewers. Grill for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and slightly charred.
