Method
Fried Milk Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Fried Milk
In a saucepan, heat the whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat until warm. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with a little cold milk to dissolve, then add to the saucepan. Cook until thickened. Pour into a dish and let it cool completely. Once set, cut into squares, dip in beaten eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Chocolate Mousse Preparation
- 2
Make the Chocolate Mousse
Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy, then gradually add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream, then fold in the egg whites until fully incorporated. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Toasted Milk Ice Cream Preparation
