Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Madai

Using a sharp knife, thinly slice the madai into delicate sashimi pieces and arrange them on a serving plate.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Kiwi

Peel and slice the kiwi into thin rounds or small cubes. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Shiso

Wash the shiso leaves and pat them dry. Tear the leaves into smaller pieces or leave them whole for garnishing.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Dish

Layer the kiwi slices over the sliced madai. Sprinkle the torn shiso leaves on top.

  5. 5

    Dress the Dish

Drizzle the lemon juice and olive oil over the dish. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately as a fresh appetizer or light main course, garnished with additional shiso leaves if desired.
