Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Spicy Aioli

In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Sriracha, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Adjust seasoning to taste, then set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Scallops

Pat the diver scallops dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Sear the Scallops

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil (if necessary). Once hot, place the scallops in the skillet and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Avocado

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Slice it into thin pieces.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On a plate, arrange the sliced avocado. Top with the seared scallops and drizzle the spicy aioli over the top. Serve immediately.
