For the Country Fried Steak

Prepare the Steak
Slice the beef round steak into 4 equal portions. Gently pound each piece to about 1/2 inch thickness.

In one bowl, combine the flour with salt, black pepper, and paprika. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and eggs.

Bread the Steak
Dip each piece of steak into the buttermilk mixture, then dredge in the seasoned flour, ensuring a good coating.

Fry the Steak
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded steaks and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Add Milk
Slowly pour in the milk while continuously whisking to avoid lumps. Add black pepper and salt to taste. Cook until the gravy thickens, about 3-5 minutes.

Slice the cucumbers into rounds or spears, based on your preference.

Pickle the Cucumbers
Add sliced cucumbers, garlic cloves, and dill into a jar. Pour the pickling brine over them, ensuring they are fully submerged. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
