Brown Sugar Bacon Preparation

Prepare the Brown Sugar Bacon
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Coat the Bacon
Sprinkle brown sugar and black pepper evenly over both sides of the thick-cut bacon slices.

Bake the Bacon
Place the bacon on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Add the Cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of white cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Prepare the Buns
Slice the brioche buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers
On the bottom half of each bun, layer the iceberg lettuce followed by a beef patty topped with melted cheese, a generous spoonful of tomato jam, and a handful of Buck's Fried Pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
