Brown Sugar Bacon Ingredients

Method

Brown Sugar Bacon Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brown Sugar Bacon

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

    Coat the Bacon

Sprinkle brown sugar and black pepper evenly over both sides of the thick-cut bacon slices.

  3. 3

    Bake the Bacon

Place the bacon on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Burger Assembly

  1. 4

    Cook the Beef Patties

While the bacon is baking, shape the ground beef into 4 equal patties. Season with salt and pepper. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.

  2. 5

    Add the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of white cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

  3. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Slice the brioche buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  4. 7

    Assemble the Burgers

On the bottom half of each bun, layer the iceberg lettuce followed by a beef patty topped with melted cheese, a generous spoonful of tomato jam, and a handful of Buck's Fried Pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
