Method

Salmon Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub the blackening seasoning evenly over both sides of each salmon fillet.

  2. 2

    Cook the Salmon

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has a nice blackened crust. Remove from heat and let rest.

Cilantro Glaze

  1. 3

    Prepare the Cilantro Glaze

In a blender or food processor, combine fresh cilantro, lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the ciabatta buns in half. Thinly slice the tomato and red chili.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each ciabatta bun, place the lettuce leaves. Top with the cooked salmon fillet, followed by refrigerator pickles, sliced tomato, and red chili. Drizzle the cilantro glaze over the top before placing the top half of the bun.
